たいせつな人へ感謝を伝える日。
「ほっとする空間でゆったりとした時間を過ごしたい。」 「せっかく両家の家族が集まるのであれば時間に追われることなく、食事の時間を楽しみたい。」 そんな願いを込めて、MAYAを選んでくれたお二人。 夏の陽気が連休の中で明るく輝くこの日、おふたりは結婚の日を迎えました。 結婚の日1日目。 この日は”親御様をおもてなしする日”として、準備をしてきたお二人。言葉だけでは伝えきれない感謝の気持ちをこのハレの日を迎える前日に、一つ屋根の下で一緒の時間を過ごすことで自分たちの想いを少しでも多く伝えられたら。そんな風に考えてくださり、親御様のお部屋にはお二人からのお手紙を添えてお迎え致しました。 お二人からのお手紙をとても嬉しそうに読みながら、和室でくつろぐ親御様の様子を見て、照れくさそうにするお二人は、続いて夕食のご準備に取り掛かります。 この日の夕食は日頃の感謝を込めたお二人の手作りカレー。 そしてカレーに合わせてお二人とお打合せを重ねて決めた”トマトとベーコンのコンソメスープ”と”コブサラダ”をMAYAからご用意致しました。 お二人が振る舞った夕食のお時間は、スタッフの私たちまで心あたたまるような時が流れておりました。 ハレの日。 ご両家のご親族様を30名様ほどお招きし行われた挙式披露宴は、お二人らしさ溢れる時間の過ごし方でした。ガーデンで執り行う挙式前、お二人のご入場を心待ちにされるゲストの皆様には、この日を迎えるお二人の気持ちと同じように、それぞれの感謝を伝えたい人へメッセージを書いていただく時間を設けました。 自分たちと同じようにたいせつな人を想いながら、この日を過ごしてもらいたい。そんなお二人のあたたかい願いが込められているように感じました。 「たいせつな人へ感謝を伝える」 MAYAで過ごす結婚の日にこの大きな意味を持たせてくれたお二人。 こうしてお二人にとってかけがえのない3日間をお手伝いができたことが何よりも幸せです。
A day to express your gratitude to those who mean the most to you.
“We want to spend some relaxing time in a comfortable space.” “We would like to enjoy our meal without being rushed, especially since both families are getting together.” Thank you to the lovely couple for choosing MAYA and allowing us to fulfill these wishes for their big day. The couple celebrated their wedding on this bright sunny day during the summer holiday. WEDDING DAY 1 The couple prepared a special day to welcome their parents. They wanted to convey their gratitude, which words alone could not express, by spending time together under one roof on the day before the celebration. In this vein, the couple wrote a letter to their parents, which we placed in the parents’ room to welcome them. The couple seemed bashful watching their parents joyfully read their letter as they relaxed in the Japanese-style room. The couple then went on to prepare dinner. The couple prepared a homemade curry for dinner that day as a way of expressing their gratitude. Along with the curry, MAYA prepared a “tomato and bacon consommé soup” and “cobb salad,” which were selected during our many consultations with the couple. The couple serving dinner was a heartwarming moment for even us, the staff. WEDDING DAY The wedding ceremony and reception, attended by about 30 close relatives from both families, were full of the bride and groom’s personal touches. As the guests eagerly awaited the couple’s entrance for the outdoor ceremony in the garden, they were given time to write messages to the people they wanted to express gratitude to, just as the couple were doing on this special day. I felt that the couple’s heartwarming wish to have their guests spend the day thinking of those who mean the most to them was palpable on their big day. “Express your gratitude to those who mean the most to you” The couple truly embodied what it means to have your wedding day at MAYA. I am overjoyed to have been of assistance during these three days that are sure to unforgettable for the couple.
