幸せが降り立つ日。
ものごしが柔らかく、いつも丁寧にお話をしてくださる新郎様。飾ったり気取ったりせず、明るい笑顔の新婦様。そんなお二人は、自分たちの「結婚の日」にお集まりいただくゲストの皆様に肩肘張る事なく、ゆったりと楽しんいただくと言う事をたいせつにご準備を進めていきました。
結婚の日 1日目。
お二人でお越しになりました。ここからお二人の結婚の日がはじまるのだなと思い心があたたかくなったのを想い出します。ご到着されてから、明日のハレの日に向け最終のお打ち合わせを行います。明日は雨予報です。「お庭での写真は撮りたいな〜」と言いながらも、お二人の表情はとても晴れやかでした。そして、お昼過ぎ。新婦様のご親族様がMAYAへ集います。
甥っ子くん、姪っ子ちゃんもお越しになり、MAYAに賑やかなお声が響きます。この日のご夕食は、MAYAの裏庭で流しそうめんを行いました。お子様に喜んで貰えるようにと、ご準備した流しそうめんでしたが、大人も子供も関係なくみなさんで一緒になってお楽しみいただいてる姿に、すごくほっこりとさせていただいたのを想い出します。
結婚の日 2日目。
しとしとと優しい雨に包まれながら、お二人のハレの日がはじまります。
MAYAのお庭は雨の日も素敵な表情を見せてくれます。雨に包まれた緑たちは生き生きとし、なんだか嬉しそうにも見えました。お昼どき、お二人をお祝いする為に皆様が集います。
たいせつな皆様に見守られ、はじまる和室での挙式。司会をご友人がしてくださった事で、よりアットホームで、終始微笑ましい雰囲気の中行われました。昼下がり、ダイニングでの披露宴。演出や進行にとらわれるのではなくお集まりいただいた皆様を、お二人が一言一言丁寧に、ご紹介されている姿がとても印象的でした。時折ゲストの皆様にもお言葉をいただき、おだやかに、そして時間にもとらわれる事のない会となりました。途中で雨があがり、お庭でのお写真も納める事が出来ました。その後は、ご友人の方とおひらきのない夜がはじまります。
MAYAから、機材と食材をご準備させていただき、お泊まりになるご友人の方と、BBQを行いました。気の知れたご友人に囲まれ、ハレの日を終えた安心感の中おだやかな時間が流れます。
結婚の日 3日目。
MAYAのキッチンにて、ご友人の皆様と共に昼食を作っていらっしゃいました。
皆様で肩を並べて、作ったお料理は、この先きっとたいせつな想い出のご飯になるのでしょう。MAYAでの2泊3日をご自身のお家のように、たくさんの方をお招きし、過ごしていただいたお二人。またいつの日か「ただいま」と家に帰ってくるかのようにお越しいただける場所に、MAYAがなっていればなと、お二人との時間を想い返します。

The Days When Happiness Alights The bridegroom, with his gentle demeanor, always speaks to us politely. The bride has a cheerful smile, without affectation or putting on airs. We carefully proceeded with preparations so that such a couple as the two of you will comfortably, without having to act formally, enjoy the time with your guests, who will gather on your wedding days.
The First Day of Wedding Days The two of you have come over. We feel that the wedding day for the two of you will begin from here, and we shall remember that our hearts warmed up. After you have arrived, we shall have a final meeting with you for tomorrow’s ceremonial day. Rain is forecast for tomorrow. Even though you said, well, we wanted to take pictures in the yard, the expressions of the two of you were very sunny. It is now afternoon. The bride’s relatives gather at MAYA. Her nephews and nieces also come over, and MAYA reverberates with lively voices. We served nagashi somen (flowing noodles) for dinner this day in MAYA’s backyard. We prepared nagashi somen so that the children would be delighted. However, we shall remember that we felt very warm and fluffy at the sight of everyone coming together and enjoying the somen, regardless of whether they were adults or children.
The Second Day of Wedding Days While enveloped in a gently falling rain, the ceremonial day for the two of you begins. MAYA’s yard displays a wonderful appearance, even on a rainy day. The greenery, enveloped in the rain, appeared lively and somehow happy. At noon, everyone gathers to congratulate the two of you. Your wedding ceremony begins in a Japanese-style room, where beloved people watch over you. A friend acts as the master of ceremonies, so the ceremony is cozier and conducted in a pleasant atmosphere the whole time. In the early afternoon is the reception in the dining room. The two of you, without being bound by event management or its progress, politely introduced, with a few words each, everyone gathered there. The sight of that was very impressive. Sometimes guests said a few words, and even the gathering peacefully became one not bound by time. It stopped raining midway through, and you could even take pictures in the garden. Afterward, the party does not break up, and a night with your friends begins. MAYA prepared equipment and foodstuffs, and you had a BBQ with your friends who would stay overnight. Surrounded by your closest friends, a peaceful time passes amid a sense of security that you have completed the ceremonial day.
The Third Day of Wedding Days You made lunch with your friends in MAYA’s kitchen. The food you made shoulder-to-shoulder with them will surely become the meal of a cherished memory from now on. The two of you invited many people and spent two nights and three days with them at MAYA as if MAYA were your own home. We shall think back upon the time spent with the two of you, hoping that MAYA will be a place to which you will come again one day as if you were returning home, saying, “We’re back.”
