それぞれの思い出が紡がれた日。
いつも優しい笑顔で、気さくにお話をしてくださる新郎様。親しみやすく、笑顔がとてもお似合いな新婦様。そんなお二人は、2泊3日の中でご家族ご友人と、日常の延長線上で飾ることなく、ただゆっくりと過ごせるようにという思いで、「結婚の日」を迎えられました。
結婚の日1日目。
鎌倉の海に立ち寄ってから、お越しいただきました。
「こんにちは〜」というお二人の素敵な笑顔を見て、今日からの3日間がとても楽しみになったのを思い出します。ご到着後、お庭に出てお二人で肩を並べてお昼ご飯を楽しまれている姿はとても微笑ましい光景でした。
そしてこの日は、ご家族と時間を共にしたいとお考えだったお二人。せっかくの機会だから、みんなでお食事のご準備をする事から始めました。家族皆で、お揃いのエプロンを付けて、アイランドを囲みます。お料理が得意な新郎様のお父様は、お酒のつまみをささっとと作られたり、普段は包丁をあまり握らないという新婦様のお父様が、お鍋に入れる野菜を新婦様に見守られながら切られていたりと、あたたかい家族との時間が流れます。
出来上がったお料理を並べ、家族皆で食卓を囲みお食事が始まりました。
家族だけの時間だからこそ、普段なかなか伝える事の出来ない感謝の気持ちをお手紙にしたためてこられました。明日のハレの日を前に、親御様へ今の素直な気持ちを伝えるたいせつな時間となりました。
結婚の日2日目。
ご家族で朝食を食べていらっしゃる光景が、なんだか昨晩よりもご家族間の距離が近づいたような気がして、私たちが嬉しくなったのを思い出します。お二人のお人柄を表すような、あたたかい陽が差すお昼下がり。たいせつなゲストの皆様に見守られながらお庭でのお式がはじまります。今日の為に、お二人がご準備した、結婚証明書は皆様のお名前が刻まれたものでした。この日お集まりいただいたゲストの皆様の祝福のお気持ちがぎゅっと詰まった証明書が出来上がりました。
ここからはダイニングへと移動し、披露宴が始まります。ご友人の方から、お祝いのお言葉をいただき、これまでの想い出を皆様で振り返ります。あの頃を想い出し、大きな笑い声に包まれるMAYAのダイニング。時折、今の幸せを噛み締めながら涙する場面もあり、和やかであたたかい時間が流れました。
披露宴が結んだ後も、ご友人とのお時間は続きます。お二人を良く知る昔ながらのご友人と過ごす時間だからこそ、よりリラックスした雰囲気で想い出話に花が咲きます。皆様のにぎやかな笑い声と共に、MAYAが夜に包まれていきました。
結婚の日3日目。
この日はあえて、お二人で過ごす事をお選びになりました。改めて、家族になった事を実感しながらお二人で囲む朝の食卓。結婚の日を振り返りながら、ゆったりと流れる朝の時間は、これから肩を並べて歩んでいくお二人にとって、とてもたいせつな時間になるのではないでしょうか。
そして、チェックアウトのお時間。いつもの笑顔で手を振ってくれたお二人。
寂しい気持ちにもなりますが、MAYAでの結婚の日をまた想い出しながら素敵な家庭を築いていっていただければと、お二人の幸せを願ってお見送りをしました。後日、お二人からいただいた心あたたまるメッセージは私たちの宝物です。その素敵なお人柄で、私たちへも素敵な想い出を残してくださったお二人には感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。
Days filled with memories.
The groom, who is always with a kind smile and a friendly manner.The bride, who is friendly and has a smile that suits her perfectly.The couple celebrated their wedding for 3 days and 2 nights. They wanted to spend a relaxed time with their family and friends during these days without any of those extravaganzas.
The first day of the wedding.
After stopping by the beach in Kamakura, they came to MAYA.I remember seeing their beautiful smiles as they said “Hello~” and I was so excited about the next three days.
After their arrival, it was very heartwarming to see the two of them enjoying lunch side by side in the garden.
And on this day, they wanted to spend time with their families.Since it was a great opportunity, we started by preparing the meal for everyone.Everyone in the family put on matching aprons and gathered around the island.The groom’s father, who is a good cook, quickly prepared snacks for drinks. The bride’s father, who does not usually use a knife, chopped vegetables to put in a pot with the bride watching over him, and they were having a happy family time.
After setting the finished dishes, the family gathered around the table and began to eat together.Because it was a family-only time, they wrote letters to express their gratitude, which is usually difficult to convey. It was an important time for them to express their honest feelings to their parents before the big day tomorrow.
The second day of the wedding.
The sight of the family having breakfast together somehow brought them closer than last night, and we were happy to see them.It was a warm, sunny afternoon that reflected the couple’s personalities.The ceremony begins in the garden and was watched by their precious guests.The wedding certificate that the couple prepared for this day was engraved with everyone’s name.The certificate was filled with the blessings of all the guests who had gathered that day.From here, we moved to the dining room to begin the reception.The couple received words of congratulations from friends and looked back on the memories of the past.The dining room at MAYA was filled with laughter as they reminisce about those days. There were also occasional moments of tears as the guests relished the happiness of that moment, and a warm and peaceful time passed.
After the reception was over, the time with friends continued.Because it was a time with old friends who knew the couple well, the atmosphere was more relaxed and memories were shared.MAYA was filled with everyone’s lively laughter as the night fell.
The third day of the wedding.
On this day, the couple chose to spend the day together by themselves.
The two of them gathered around the dining table in the morning, once again realizing that they have become a family.This morning hours that flowed slowly as they reflected on their wedding day will become a precious time for them as they walk side by side from now on.And then it was time to check out.The couple waved to me with their usual smiles.It was a sad moment, but we wished them a happy farewell and hoped that they would build a wonderful family while remembering their wedding day at MAYA.
We treasure the heartwarming messages we received from the couple later.
We are filled with gratitude to the couple for leaving us with such wonderful memories of their lovely personalities.
