大事な人が集まる日。
「振り返ると私たちはこれまで本当にたくさんの方々に支えられて過ごしてきました。」
そんな想いを持ったお二人は、 「結婚式を挙げる上で足を運んでくださるゲスト一人一人とゆっくりお話ができる場所がいい。」と MAYAで結婚の日を過ごすことを決めてくださいました。
結婚の日 1日目。
チェックインの予定時間よりも 少し早くいらっしゃったお二人。 いつもと変わらないご様子に見受けられましたが、 引き出物や席札など明日に向けての準備には、少し緊張感があるようにも感じました。 夜ご飯はご兄弟含めてご両家が揃い、 お母様同士が協力して夕食を作ったり、 お父様は椅子に腰掛けて一緒にお話をしたりと 賑やかに過ごされていました。 後日、親御様が「ハレの日前日に家族揃って夕食を囲めたことが嬉しかった。」とお二人にお話をされたそうです。
結婚の日 2日目。
昨日の緊張感がほぐれて、 ご両家の皆様がゆったりとした雰囲気になっていました。 たくさんのゲストを招いたお二人は、 披露宴を2回行う2部制のハレの日を過ごされました。 一部の披露宴は、ご家族や会社の上司を招き 二部の披露宴は、親しい友人を招き、 同じダイニングでも一部と二部では 全く違う時間が流れていました。 どちらの時間も日常のお二人の顔で、 笑ったり泣いたり喜んだり、 想いがたくさん詰まった時間でした。 一部と二部の披露宴の間には 全員が一同に会す時間を設け、お庭で挙式を行いました。 挙式の際、皆様の前で誓いを立てる「誓いの言葉」は、 「自分たちで考えるのではなく、自分たちがたいせつに想う方々が大事にしていることを誓いの言葉にしたい」と ジェンガに大事にしていることを書いてもらい、箱に収めていただきました。 その箱の中からいくつか選び、お二人は誓いを立てました。 選ばれるかドキドキするゲストやご自身のジェンガが選ばれて嬉しそうなゲスト、 盛り上がる場面もあり、 お二人らしい仲睦まじい挙式となりました。
結婚の日 3日目。
とても気持ちが良い天気で、朝食を召し上がったあとは、コーヒーを飲みながらお話をしたり、焚き火のそばで過ごされたり、昨日の余韻が残るMAYAでゆっくりと夫婦の時間を過ごされていました。 たくさんの方々に慕われ、誰に対しても変わらず親切でていねいな新婦さん、 自然と相手に合わせることができる心優しい、 しっかりものの新郎さん。 打合せでお会いするたびにお二人の人柄に心惹かれ 初めてお会いした日から、お手伝いした今日まで、 私たちにとっても忘れられない結婚の日でした。 お見送りはお二人の姿が見えなくなるまで手を振り、 またいつかお会いできることを願いました。
The day when important people gather.
“We have been truly supported by so many people along the way when we look back.” With such feelings, the couple decided to spend their wedding day at MAYA, as they wanted a place where they could talk slowly with each guest who took the time to attend their wedding.
The first day of the wedding.
The couple arrived a little earlier than the check-in time. They seemed calm as usual, but there was a hint of nervousness in the preparations for tomorrow, such as the gifts and place cards. Dinner was lively with both families, including siblings, coming together. Mothers worked together to prepare dinner, while fathers sat down to chat together. The parents later told the couple that they were happy to have dinner together as a family the day before the special day.
Day 2 of the wedding.
The tension from yesterday has eased, and both families were in a relaxed atmosphere. The couple, who invited many guests, spent their special day with a two-part wedding reception. The first part of the reception included family members and company bosses, while the second part included close friends. Even though both parts took place in the same dining area, the atmosphere and flow of time were completely different. Both parts were filled with the everyday expressions of the couple, with laughter, tears, and joy, creating a memorable time filled with emotions. Between the first and second parts of the reception, there was a time for everyone to gather together and have a wedding ceremony in the garden. During the ceremony, the couple made their vows in front of everyone. Instead of coming up with their own vows, they wanted to include something important to the people they cherish. They asked guests to write down something important to them on Jenga blocks and put them in a box. The couple then selected a few blocks from the box and made their vows. It was an exciting moment for the guests, wondering if their block would be chosen, and some guests were delighted when their Jenga block was selected. Overall, it was a heartwarming ceremony that truly reflected the couple’s relationship.
Day 3 of the wedding
The weather was very nice. After breakfast, they chatted while drinking coffee, spent time by the campfire, and enjoyed their time as a couple at MAYA, still feeling the afterglow of yesterday. The bride, loved by many, is always kind and polite to everyone, The groom, who is kind-hearted and able to adapt naturally to others, is a reliable man. Every time we met during the preparations, we were drawn to their personalities, From the day we first met until today when we helped them, It was an unforgettable wedding day for us too. We waved our hands until we couldn’t see the two of them anymore, and hoped to meet again someday.
