小さな天使が主役の日。
穏やかで、優しい笑顔の新郎様。天真爛漫で、明るい笑顔の新婦様。そして、笑った顔が新婦様にそっくりなお二人のお子様。ご家族3人と行ったお打合せは、毎回笑顔溢れる癒しの時間だった事を思い出します。
結婚の日1日目。
少し眠そうにチャイルドシートに乗ったお子様と、ご家族3人揃って、MAYAヘとお越しいただきました。パパとママは明日の準備をする中、ダイニングを駆け回り、ジェンガでの新しい遊び方を教えてくれたお子様。お家での時間が流れているようで、そこにお邪魔しているような感覚でした。
そしてこの日、近くのお花屋さんへ明日の「ハレの日」で親御様にお渡しするお花を
お子様と一緒に選びにお出かけされました。お子様が選んだお花は、白と青とオレンジの素敵なお花たちでした。1日目は、新婦様のご両親、ご親族様もMAYAにお泊りになりご家族でのお時間を楽しまれました。
結婚の日2日目。
お二人のハレの日は、結婚式というよりも、お子様のお披露目会にしたいとお考えだったお二人。今日はお子様の出番も沢山あります。昼下がり、お二人のハレの日を祝うため、たいせつなゲストの皆様が集います。お集まりいただいた皆様との思い出を何か形として残す事をお考えになったお二人は幸せの木とも言われているオリーブの木で、植樹の儀を行いました。まずは、ゲストの方にお二人へ祝福のお気持ちも込め、オリーブの木の鉢へ土を入れていただきます。
皆様がお揃いになった所で、お庭でのお式がはじまりました。
あたたかい日が差す中、ご家族3人の幸せなお姿を皆様で見守る素敵なお時間が流れます。
祝福の想いがこもったオリーブの木にお二人でお水を注ぎながら、改めて家族として歩んでいく事を皆様の前で誓いました。そして、MAYAのダイニングで披露宴が始まります。
お子様の可愛らしい笑い声が、その場の雰囲気をより一層明るくします。お集まりいただいた大切な方から、お言葉をいただいたり、一緒にお食事を楽しんだり、あちこちで笑い声が耐えませんでした。少しグズグズとしてしまったお子様を、ご家族、ご友人の皆様が変わるがわるあやしている姿がとても印象的で、終始あたたかい空間となりました。2日目も、ご親族様と一緒にお泊りになり、ハレの日が結んだ安心感を共に分かち合われました。
結婚の日3日目。
お泊まりになられたご親族の皆様でお昼からBBQを楽しまれました。前の日とはまた少し違った、落ち着いたMAYAでのお時間を過ごされました。改めて、お二人の結婚の日を振り返ると
いつも中心にはお二人の宝物でもある可愛らしい天使がいて、周りを明るくしてくれお手伝いさせていただいた私たちをも、幸せな気持ちにしてくれました。お子様も、お家のようなMAYAだからこそ、緊張せずゆったり過ごせたのではないだろうかと小さな背中を見ながら感じました。
A day when a little angel takes center stage.
The groom is calm and has a gentle smile. The bride is unaffected and has a bright smile. Their child’s smiling face looks exactly like the bride’s. I remember that every meeting I had with the family of three was a soothing time filled with smiles.
WEDDING DAY—Day 1
All three of them came to MAYA. The child was slightly sleepy and was in the car seat. As Mom and Dad prepared for the following day, the child ran around the dining room and told me a new way to play Jenga. It seemed that time was passing at home, and I felt I was visiting them. On that day, they went to a nearby florist to pick out flowers to give to the parents for the following “honored day.” The flowers that the child chose were lovely white, blue, and orange flowers. On the first day, the bride’s parents and relatives also stayed at MAYA to have a family time.
WEDDING DAY—Day 2
The couple wanted the honored day to showcase their child rather than be a wedding ceremony. There would be many opportunities for the child to appear on that day. In the early afternoon, all the important guests gathered to celebrate the couple’s special day. The couple wanted to preserve their memories of the occasion with everyone in attendance in some form. They held a tree-planting ceremony with an olive tree, which is also known as the tree of happiness. First, the guests put some soil in the olive tree pot to express their blessings to the couple. The ceremony in the garden started as everyone got together. The sun was shining warmly, and everyone had a wonderful time watching the happy family of three. The couple poured water on the olive tree, which was filled with blessings, and vowed in front of everyone that they would walk together as a family. Then, the reception began in MAYA’s dining room. The cute laughter of the child made the atmosphere even brighter. They received words of encouragement from their loved ones, enjoyed the meal together, and heard laughter everywhere. It was very impressive to see the family members and friends take turns to soothe the child who had become slightly fussy, and the atmosphere remained warm all the way. The couple stayed with their relatives on the second day and shared the sense of security the honored day brought.
WEDDING DAY—Day 3
The relatives who stayed overnight enjoyed BBQ lunch. It was a little different from the previous day, and they had a relaxing time at MAYA. As I look back on their WEDDING DAY, there was always a cute angel in the center who is also a treasure for them, brightened up the surroundings, and made those of us who assisted feel happy. While looking at the little child’s back, I felt that the child could spend a relaxing time without becoming nervous because MAYA was like their home.
